The ActiveTags Firefox extension

As part of my dissertation I have built a Firefox extension called ActiveTags that lets you easily exploit the tags that are available on the Web.

What does it do? ActiveTags is a Firefox extension that lets you use tags on any web page. When it detects tags on pages it shows mashups that are relevant for resources with these tags. It comes with built in mechanisms to detect tags on pages, and is learning more every day as its detection algorithms and mashups are updated by its user base.

Alternatively, you can install ActiveTags from the Firefox Add-on site.

If you have ActiveTags installed and enabled you will be able to see where I wrote this entry.
